Photo & Image Editing/Resizing Help

SCC OnLine recommends the use of the free photo editing tools at www.picmonkey.com if you do not already have a photo editor installed on your computer. The tools at pixler.com will allow you to edit and resize your photos.

Here are the steps for using this free online image file size tool:

1. Go to http://www.picmonkey.com  - this is online software and nothing needs to be downloaded to your computer.
2. Choose "Edit your photo" to start. (An alternate method is just to drag the image icon from your desktop to the "Edit your photo" area.)
3. Browse for the image on your computer then click "Open"
4. Use any of the tools from the menu on the left to edit your image.
5. When you are done editing your image, choose "Save" at the bottom of the screen
6. Choose the location to save to and adjust your quality levels.
7. You should rename the file to avoid overwriting the orginal and then click OK to save.
